A 16-year-old girl riding a two-wheeler kept honking the deaf and dumb, then stabbed her

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly stabbed to death by a disabled man in an incident of road rage in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Sunday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (West) DC Patel said that the incident took place in Kanklipara area of ​​Azad Chowk police station area.

He said the minor, who was riding a two-wheeler, attacked the deaf-mute victim on her cycle, as the latter failed to respond to her horn.

The officer said that the girl allegedly slashed the man’s neck with a knife kept with him, killing him on the spot.

He said the minor was detained from Mandir Hasoud area and the weapon used in the crime has also been recovered from him.

Patel said the Azad Chowk police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act.

He said the detained minor would be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board on Monday.
