Pimpri Chinchwad police commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaube today held a live interaction with citizens on Twitter.
A press release issued by the police stated that about 250 citizens participated in the “Twitter live” interaction with Chaube and posted about 390 Twits, which included their questions and concerns about the safety and security of Pimpri Chinchwad.
Chaube replied to about 35 questions raised by the citizens on the Twitter platform. Most of the questions were regarding traffic problems, cyber security and problems caused by other crimes.
Replying to a question on the menace of “Koyta gang” and goondaism in Pimpri Chinchwad, Chuabe said that in the last four months 276 koyta weapons were recovered and 135 notorious criminals were booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Replying to another query, Chaube assured to share videos on cyber security awareness for the people.

Press release stated that a citizen named Nilesh posted 50 questions as “Science Quiz” for the Pimpri Chinchwad police commissioner during the Twitter live interaction. Chuabe replied, “You have landed at the wrong handle Nilesh…..try NASA, Elon Musk or maybe..Chat GPT..”
