Two men face charges related to firearms after police investigation LindsayOnt.
Kawardha Lakes City Police Service said that as part of an ongoing investigation on Friday, officers went to a house on Cambridge Street South where they arrested two persons at 9:40 a.m. replica gun and ammunition, the police said.
Jake Breen, and Lindsay Howard, both 29 and from Lindsay, were each charged with:
- Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of prohibited equipment or ammunition
- possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Two cases of firearms regulation violation – firearm or restricted firearm storage
Breen was also charged with three counts of possessing ammunition for a firearm contrary to a restraining order and one count of failure to comply with probation.
Breen was held in custody for a bail hearing in court in Lindsay; Police said Monday that Howard was released and would appear in court on September 1.
