NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A 19-year-old man has died after falling from a balcony in the French Quarter, officials report.
First responders found a man lying on the ground opposite Pat O’Brien in the 600 block of Bourbon Street at 10:40 p.m. on November 26. The victim was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner as 19-year-old Matthew Miles. He was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
Officials say Miles was reportedly on the balcony of the bar and died of unknown causes.
His manner of death, whether he died of a homicide, suicide, accident, or any other cause, is under investigation.
